Street hardware ... it used to be beautiful as well as functional.  It was handmade in foundries that took some pride in their designs and created by pattern-makers influenced by local history as well as art trends.  They reflect a time when we took more of an interest in how the world around us looked and not solely in the lowest cost per unit.  

Enjoy them while they are still in our streets.
